This year marks 60 years since the Aberfan disaster (21 Oct 1966). 'Stefan' by Dave Condon

Anniversary Trophy Competition -

held on Tuesday September 29

Our 7th Anniversary Trophy Competition was held on Tuesday 29 September. There were 56 entries.

Our Winner was Dave Condon with 'Stefan'.

The Runner Up was Heather Digweed with 'Hummingbird Moth Collecting Nectar'.

Many congratulations to you both!

Our judge was Dave Russell AFIAP, Chairman of Cardiff Camera Club.

Dave awarded scores from 13 through to 17 and held back 9 images. These scored 18s, 19s and two scored 20. We had asked Dave to choose a Winner and a Runner up, and this year's winner was Dave Condon with 'Stefan', and the Runner Up was Heather Digweed with 'Hummingbird Hawk Moth collecting Nectar'. Congratulations to you both.

Our huge thanks to Dave Russell for his critique and for the interesting observations on our images.

All images submitted for the competition will now form our online 2026 Exhibition which will be available to view on our website shortly.
